new job, 60 hours of work a week from now! Arrived

Hi,

I belong now to the hard-working people travel. However, I have
rescinded the job directly as a Dishwasher for the first layer. It was just incredibly stressful and everywhere was fat and I was completely wet from head to toe and drekig. The chefs were cool, but the work was not to bear real.
Well, then I am in the supermarket advertised as a cashier and start after a two-day training on the morning shift tomorrow. There are 13 dollars, so not bad. Also, I get a discount of 10% on everything and on every second Tuesday, a discount of 20%. Has therefore also a saving effect here on the really high food costs.

Unfortunately, it has been raining here the last few days and I only can you upload any new beautiful landscapes.
but there was I with whatever4ever -Melissa-my room-mate in a pub and it was really funny.
We also want to make a Hoursetrail over 4 days together and a rail drifts over several days. It's really amazing how quickly you can find such good friends.

The hostel life is really not great worth mentioning. You get used to it quickly must total to share everything with people and you never alone. I never thought that I would even feel comfortable. It is simple contracts run around with all the weird people here. And most of it is really funny even though I am often too tired to go away.

Ok I have now in the bed, because my shift starts at 8 tomorrow and we have already 23 clock.

Rich And Skinny Jeans

Out of the city, into the wilderness

Ok, now I am no longer in Vancouver.
After 7 days of city life had just enough of that and I wanted to get out in the wilderness. Then have all the partners of the written hostels in Vancouver if I do not anyone can work for my rent, but actually get a job in Banff.
On Thursday I will start at 6:30 (!!!) with the bus to Rocky's.
The bus trip took 13.5 hours with all the breaks are not counted.
but what a bus ride! The landscape here is just incredible! I tried to take pictures, but honestly it you can also just look at the pictures in a travel guide. This really looks like this!
We also once a 2.5 hours through the wilderness without coming down to even a gas station, or any other sign of human life over.
I also have a Bears seen! A really huge black fur thing on Highway! Have now just a little scared to walk alone here, but I will definitely find the people to come along.
also an elk and deer I've seen, but was only half as exciting as the bear.

Today (Friday) was then directly to my first working day in the hostel. Housekeeping. Not to clean the toilets, the most beautiful work of other people and some are real pigs, but at least I'm now spending more for the first no rent.
morning, we go further job search. I've already got a few tips and now has just run around with my resume and see what I get.

The weather is now here by the way also become super. Had yesterday and today, bright sunshine and I've even burned directly to the nose, but you can not imagine how beautiful the Rockies are in the sunshine!
I'm looking animal on my first hike here, but first must be cleared Jobmaessige.

Small signs of life

Hi folks,

Sorry I can as long hear anything from me. Unfortunately, I have directly received in the first days of a nasty Blaseninzuendung and could not do something because possessions can directly make my first experience with the Canadian health system. Waited 2 hours and the doctor has examined me but not even simple antibiotics prescribed. Well ....
But my insurance was really nice and I had to pay for visits to the doctor nothing and get the costs reimbursed for the drug.

me Now I have settled really well and got to know some people in the hostel. I really wanted to move to a guensitgers, but I after a tour of available hostels but let me first and then to Thursday next rented in Samesun. It's just too cozy there.

The job search is progressing slowly. I just decided to but not stay in Vancouver. The jobs here are not as high heaven and if you are not in a hostel for working his property, one can hardly pay it. In addition, I have come to Canada because of the nature and so beautiful Vancouver is, it's just not what I want at the moment.
I just now applied in very many things in country and must go to see what comes of it.

Funny things that have struck me:
- real Canadians who even at grade level by 10 shorts, T-shirt and flip-flops (I was on the first day happy took my ski underwear to have)
-! So many band shirts of cool metal bands I've never seen in one place. A little creepy but was a Tuse with glitter handbag, high heels and a Tool shirt.
- there is no I exaggerating at each corner a stubborn Bucks Coffee Shop and all run with coffee to go around.

I have also loaded picture, but do not know where you can look at closely. But am just not that familiar with the system. Ask for feedback submitted!

Yesterday, on May 7, 2008, it was finally come: I started my work and travel year in Canada.
It started first with the bye, and then to a still very long 10 hour flight from Frankfurt Vancouver. Luckily, with a real nice person sitting next to the well for work and travel has come here. I've Arrived

course, thrifty as I am, the public transport put to my hostel in downtown Vancouver. I had to be presented in this set that my backpack is pretty damn heavy and bulky and therefore bus ride but no real fun ....

My hostel is really nice, but yesterday I was blown away by the Jetlegs directly and I have only slept.

Today, on my first day, have I first made all the errands you have to do this:
bank account, social security number, mail and telephone. Real hard.
am therefore not so much been around, but so far I like Vancouver very well. There are some cool alternative shops.

Ok, that's it for now. Photos are then replenished.
